01 / WHAT WE ACTUALLY TEST

From being found
to the next step.

One customer goal. Five connected questions.
Look beyond mentions to the journey that follows.

DISCOVERY & IDENTITY

Are you in the answer?

When someone describes a need you can meet, does AI identify your business and present it as a relevant option?

A CUSTOMER MIGHT ASK

“Where can I book a hotel in Paris for a family of four?”

We test the customer's need, not just your business name.

02 / WHAT YOU GET

An answer you can
do something with.

What happened. What supports it.
What to consider changing.

YOUR BASELINE CODEWBS-DEMO

Example assessment · 25 October 2026

Use this code to measure again
against the same customer need.

OBSERVED

Your offer is being described inconsistently.

Some example answers omit the family-room option shown on the hotel website.

SUGGESTED CHANGE

Make family-room details explicit.

Make room capacity, location and booking steps easy to find. Measure again after making changes.

Keep your Baseline Code. Use it to measure again after making changes.

03 / HOW IT WORKS

Start with a real
customer need.

WBS follows that need through the answers
and the evidence behind your business.

01 ↗

Tell us what matters.

Your business, website, and what a customer wants to buy, book or ask you about.

02 ↗

See what AI returns.

Repeated, independent API observations, compared with separately collected business evidence.

03 ↗

Act. Then check again.

Review evidence-backed suggestions. Keep your baseline so later measurements have a meaningful reference.

1 / 2 · Your customer and businessPREVIEW ONLY

What should AI find you for?

Describe a real customer need, in the market you serve.

What should a customer be able to do?

The customer’s market—not necessarily your office address.

Preview only. Nothing is sent or saved, and no audit runs.

04 / A FEW GOOD QUESTIONS

Clarity starts here.

Is this only for online shops?+

No. The intended assessment supports businesses whose customers buy, book or make contact—from products to services. Each audit starts with your specific customer goal. The market statistics above have their own sector limits.

Does this test ChatGPT, or an API?+

We collect repeated responses through provider APIs and record the model and settings used. Your report shows which systems were measured and what each returned.

Can you guarantee AI will recommend me?+

No. WBS measures observable answers, checks supporting evidence and proposes changes. It cannot access hidden ranking mechanisms or guarantee recommendations, traffic or revenue.

Why repeat the same customer question?+

One answer is a snapshot. Repeated independent observations help show how results vary. Reports retain sample sizes and individual evidence rather than treating one answer as a permanent platform verdict.

What happens after I make changes?+

Choose “Measure again” and enter the Baseline Code from your report. This retrieves the original customer need, market, language and questions for comparison. We also check what has changed in your business information and advertising. A change in results does not by itself prove what caused it.

Can I run an audit on this preview?+

Not yet. This is the website design draft, with a fictional report and a demonstration form. Live collection, email verification, secure delivery and the final privacy information will be connected before the beta opens.

RESEARCH, WITH THE CONTEXT ATTACHED

What the numbers mean.

The opening is a WBS visualisation based on Adobe’s “Growth in AI Visit Share by Industry,” covering retail, travel and financial services from October 2024 to July 2026. Its baseline is October 2024. The vertical axis shows relative growth in AI visit share, not the percentage of all traffic coming from AI.

Adobe · AI Traffic Trends Report, August 2026 ↗

Adobe · Travel and retail findings, 19 August 2026 ↗

Values were reconstructed from the vector point positions on page 5 of Adobe’s public report and rounded to the nearest 10 percentage points. They are approximate, not an Adobe-supplied data table. WBS created the chart design; Adobe is the data source.

The 42% conversion finding

Adobe measured AI-referred visits to U.S. retail sites in March 2026 converting 42% better than aggregated non-AI traffic. That is a relative comparison, not a 42-percentage-point increase, an organic-search-only comparison or a promised WBS result.

ILLUSTRATIVE EVIDENCE

Follow a finding back
to its source.

FICTIONAL WEBSITE SNAPSHOT

“Family rooms accommodate two adults and two children. Room capacity and booking options are listed on our Paris hotel website.”

FICTIONAL AI ANSWER EXCERPT

“Example Paris Hotel offers rooms in Paris.”

Observation: the family-room option and capacity are not described in this excerpt.

Limit: an omission in one answer does not prove that the model lacked the information or explain its ranking. The full report would retain the complete response, frozen query, date, model, source snapshot and classification rationale.

ILLUSTRATIVE REASONING

A suggestion.
With a reason.

Example finding: booking details are available on the fictional business's website, but the example AI answers describe the offer inconsistently.

Hypothesis: clearer, accessible text describing family-room capacity, location and booking steps may make the offer easier to interpret.

Suggested action: review the service and booking pages for clear, consistent information. Preserve useful facts already present; do not add claims the business cannot substantiate.

Check later: repeat the frozen measurement after an intervention. Report changed conditions and remaining uncertainty. This does not guarantee a recommendation or establish causality.
